Due to that I would be sent there by company for business and stay there for more than 1 year, the big problem for me was that I had lots of private stuff to ship to Vietnam. If the stuff were consigned to Vietnam by air plane, it would be obviously out of weight limitation, which would let me pay much more. So I was wondering whether was a more cost effective to hire a mover or carrier to ship my stuff to Vietnam.

Yahoo Answer is a good option if you have a question. After two days I posted my question, a nice guy gave me his answer that was recommended me to use a shipment consolidation service company called Bongo International to ship to Vietnam.

I went to Bongo’s website to try to get more information. Finally, I found it was easy to understand. The company would provide me discounts off DHL or Fedex, even 50%. The better was consolidation which allowed me put all the stuff into one package so that I was able to save much cost while shipping to Vietnam due to this process could save much volume.

With discounts off and consolidation, I was still curious about how much I could save when my stuff was shipped to Vietnam. According to calculator listed on the company’s website, I was surprised about 68% saving. I did believe there was no such a good way to ship my stuff to Vietnam.
